Step 3: Agree to Advertise
Help yourself while you help the drivers who are contracted with your company. Ads fund our “Safety Sweepstakes” rewards program, which can help you lower your own insurance costs. Rates are based on your company’s total number of independent drivers under contract:
Once you’re a Recognized Contracting Carrier, we will send you documents to provide to drivers that lay out our benefits, discounted rates, and payment options — along with your unique Contracting Carrier Code (CCC) that they will use when enrolling to save up to an additional 25% or more.
Click here to review sample contract provisions you can insert into your IC Agreement (or equivalent) to set or raise your standards in ways that drivers can handle easily and affordably with A4DD member benefits. Be sure to obtain qualified legal counsel on any changes to your driver contracts.
The bottom line: If your drivers are independent contractors or vendors and if you want to keep it that way, the Association for Delivery Drivers is here to help.
