A4DD offers two HazMat training courses built for delivery drivers through an exclusive partnership with Transcompss.  Protect yourself, your customers, and the public from the risks and dangers of transporting even non-bulk HazMat. With A4DD training, you’ll spend less and meet both government and contract requirements.  Courses are USDOT-compliant, run 30-45 minutes, and are specially discounted for A4DD members.

HazMat Basic Training for Delivery

$29.95 – $32.95  (30-45 minutes)

Also known as “Dangerous Goods” training. Many common products can be hazardous. Learn what the USDOT requires when you transport non-radioactive, non-bulk (no placards) dangerous goods shipments on US roadways. The course covers function-specific, safety, and security standards, rules, and procedures.

Radioactive Materials Training Bundle

$49.95 – $59.95  (60-90 minutes)

Qualify to safely transport nuclear medicines. The Radioactive Materials training bundle includes both the HazMat Basic Training course and a second course that adds what you need to know to transport and deliver non-bulk Class 7 goods that don't require vehicle placarding, like radioactive medicines.

Not all delivery drivers should take this training.  If you haul bulk quantities of HazMat and your vehicle needs to display “placards” (diamond-shaped signs with HazMat symbols and numbers), then you should choose different training.   However, if you are like most delivery drivers and transport smaller quantities of potentially hazardous substances, then Transcompss and A4DD have teamed up to bring you a unique training opportunity.

Introducing Our Training Partner

Transcompss founder Mark Fries started unloading airplanes in 1988 as a college job. He worked his way up to directing their Field Service team and was also a member of their Process and Improvement team.
