| No Increase in Occupational Accident Insurance Rates for Drivers in 2022
The Management at A4DD is well aware of the struggles that delivery drivers are having with the rising price of fuel and other costs. So, we are pleased to announce that the Occupational Accident (OCCACC) insurance rates that your drivers paid in 2021 will be the same in 2022—no increase ! Additionally, rates for other insurances (cargo and general liability) will remain the same as last year’s. Also, Association membership dues will not change—still $59 for a year or $39 for six months. When you recommend the Association to your drivers (and we appreciate it when you do!), you can be confident that A4DD is constantly looking for new and better products and services at the most affordable price. Slight-of-hand: Some businesses boast that the price of their products haven’t increased but upon inspection, you know they’ve done a little slight-of-hand. You’ve seen it—the “half-gallon” jug of iced tea you used to buy now has 59 ounces in the jug. Or the 20-ounce box of cereal you used to buy now has 18.6 ounces—same size box, less cereal, more air! But not A4DD. When it comes to insurance rates (OCCACC, Cargo, General Liability), the Association has kept the rates the same for over three years—while increasing the value of the coverage for the driver. If you haven’t checked out the driver benefits that A4DD offers in a while, take a few minutes and check them out by clicking HERE. And remember, we can provide you with PDF versions of member benefits flyers that you can share with your drivers. Just email us at: [email protected]. And remember, your drivers can order a Certificate of Insurance for any of the insurances they purchase by logging into the A4DD website and clicking on “Member Benefits” and then “Insurance” in the dropdown and then “Proof of Insurance” or by clicking this link. Meanwhile, registered contracting companies can monitor driver insurance and use of other A4DD benefits 24/7 using the Find My Drivers report. Stay safe out there, A4DD Team |
