A New Occupational Accident Insurance Plan Starts April 1st.

As of Thursday, April 1st, 2021, A4DD members will gain increased protection without paying a penny extra.  Some drivers will even see lower rates.  Occupational Accident insurance is the Association’s #1 member benefit.  If you aren’t taking advantage to eliminate Workers Compensation risks (and obtain low-cost WC coverage for yourself), now is the time.  Occupational Accident insurance pays medical bills and replaces lost income from work-related injuries.

New Program Highlights

• Higher limits of insurance — Plan A doubles to $1,000,000 (from $500,000) and Plan B goes up to $500,000
• Death and severe injury benefits — Plan A becomes $250,000 (from $150,000) and Plan B becomes $150,000
• New option to cover a helper under a member’s policy (helpers may not drive)
• Disability income benefits improve in multiple ways for both Plan A and B
• Older drivers retain full benefits
• We removed most sub-limits and offsets
• Master Contractors now can get affordable Contingent Liability insurance … ask about it!

To bring you these improvements, the Association has partnered with Great American Insurance Company.  Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Great American has delivered insurance solutions to businesses for nearly 150 years.  It has grown into a global company known for innovative and specialized insurance and boasts an A+ financial strength rating by A.M. Best.  The new program replaces the one A4DD has had with OneBeacon Insurance Group since its founding.  We salute OneBeacon for all it has done for our members over the years while looking forward to this exciting new partnership!

Certificates of Insurance

Members currently enrolled will receive new certificates shortly, including coverage details and updated instructions on how to make a claim.  Certs will also go to your primary contracting company automatically if it is recognized by A4DD (i.e. if it gave you a discount code).  Members can easily order proof of insurance online to be sent to any company.

The Bottom Line
