A4DD Training is Back in Business

A4DD Training is Back in Business

security issue Screen-Shot

After a period over the past weekend where access to A4DD’s training portal was blocked, we are pleased to announce that service was restored on Sunday evening.  A4DD members may sign up for and take online compliance and safety training normally once again.

If you tried to take safety or compliance training – or access a free safety or wellness video – over the past weekend, you may have run into an alarming sounding error message like the image above. For a time there was no way to access the training portal and take your course.  Now you can connect normally and log on with your training credentials (username, company ID, and password), which were emailed to you when you signed up for training.

Your A4DD team quickly diagnosed the problem as an expired Security Certificate for the portal site.  We contacted the portal site manager to alert them, and they were able to re-issue the certificate to get the portal up and running again.  While we are questioning why the certificate was allowed to expire, we do appreciate the prompt and successful after-hours response by the site manager.

A4DD utilizes the Succeed Solutions portal, which is a secure “HTTPS” site with a Strict Transport Security policy. This means that your internet browser, like Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Apple Safari, can only connect to the portal securely in order to protect your privacy. Websites prove their identity to browsers using a “certificate”.  If the certificate expires, the browser can’t connect.

Once again, we are happy to report that A4DD training is back in business. You can use this link to access any training you have ordered: https://portal.succeedms.com/Home/Index.  As a reminder, we recommend Chrome or Safari over Firefox or Edge for the training.  Check out our Training Center to see how affordable professional training can be for A4DD members.
